Summary: Why a menu entry to save settings?
           Product: konsole
           Version: 1.1.3
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konsole-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: cousin at in2p3.fr

Version: 1.1.3 (using KDE 3.0.4)
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-4GB

Currently, Konsole has a menu entry "Save settings" which is needed to actually save the changes in configuration.

This is not consistent with most KDE applications which save settings as soon as the OK button is clicked in the configuration dialog.

I know Konsole is a bit special among ordinary KDE apps, but I think this is a usability issue that should be thought of...

Thanks for your attention!
