Can you try to generate a core dump by running:

ulimit -c unlimited
KDE_DEBUG=true konsole

This should create a file "core" in the current directory.

Now run "gdb konsole core" and once it is loaded type "bt". Can you send the 
output of the "bt" command? (Do NOT send the core file itself!)
