[Konsole-devel] vi causing highlighted font in Konsole?

Here is the problem I experienced:
   $vi foo.c
     :color evening (a feature that highlights fonts in vi)
     :q!
   $

Now, although i've quitted vi, somehow the hightlighted setting is 
"remembered" by konsole, until, say, a "ls" is executed. This problem 
doesn't exist in Linux virtual console. I'm using Mandrake 8.1.


Is this a vi problem or a konsole problem?
