[Konsole-devel] Bug#44530: kwrited doesn't react on write messages

Package: kwrited
Version: 2.0.0 (using KDE 3.0.1 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
Compiler: rpms
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: none

Using KDE 2.2.2, all worked almost perfectly. I Samba executed a script whenever a smb message came in. It then sent this message through "write" to the consoles. In KDE, kwrited appeared and displayed it, too. But since I use KDE 3.0.1, kwrited doesn't display anything anymore.
With old KDE, "who" showed that I were logged in on term. ":0" and "/dev/pts/0". Now, with new KDE, it only shows ":0". But /dev/pts/0 exists. If I try to write to it, it says "user <username> is not logged in on /dev/pts/0". (even as root)
I'd like to know how I can tell kwrited to display those messages again.
I already enabled the checkbox in kcontrol and changed "Autostart" in kwriterc to "true".
