Hi,

I have exactly the same problem. I'm using Red Hat Linux 7.3 (kernel
2.4.18-5). KDE 3.0.0-10. I also believe this might be a font-related
issue. I don't know why but the font size for many KDE dialogs is *very*
small. So small I can't read it. (Specifically, the dialog that asks for
the root password, the login screen dialog, etc.). Maybe konsole is
looking for a font that got erased in my system? (I haven't done
anything like that myself).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
