interesting... at a linux console Alt-{Left,Right} moves one VT to the 
{Left,RIght} ... how does one accomplish this "move wordwise" when using bash 
in a linux vt?

also note that Alt-{Left,Right} doesn't work here in my console, but i'm 
assuming that's because i haven't set up bash to work with Alt-{Left,Right}
