OS/Compiler notes: 

The Hotkeys SHIFT-CTRL-right/left allowed switching consoles with KDE 2.x. With KDE 3.0.x only the highlighted Toolbar-Icon switches, the console itself stays.

Switching to a console with the mouse works.
