[Konsole-devel] Bug#44967: konsole and kdm related error

The folowing problem is present in the FreeBSD community under FreeBSD 4.6 Release and no satisfactory answer/solution is presen tso far.
Please, take a look at the problem if you have the time.

Description of the problem:
kde3.0.2 kdm and console seems to have soem sort of conflict.

If I use kdm as:

My /etc/ttys
ttyv0   "/usr/libexec/getty Pc"         cons25  on  secure
# Virtual terminals
ttyv1   "/usr/libexec/getty Pc"         cons25  on  secure
ttyv2   "/usr/libexec/getty Pc"         cons25  on  secure
ttyv3   "/usr/libexec/getty Pc"         cons25  on  secure
ttyv4   "/usr/libexec/getty Pc"         cons25  on  secure
ttyv5   "/usr/libexec/getty Pc"         cons25  on  secure
ttyv6   "/usr/libexec/getty Pc"         cons25  on  secure
ttyv7   "/usr/libexec/getty Pc"         cons25  on  secure
ttyv8   "/usr/local/bin/kdm -nodaemon"  xterm   on secure

Note the ttyv8 entry is on

I get KDE3 crashes and core dumps, the konsole would not open for 60 seconds etc

I get the following error message:
