Hm, I checked kdebase-20020224 snap.
It seems to be improved to recognize the CJK multibyte size char width, but
still there are serious bugs remain.

- Still don't support XIM yet. Imagine your keyboard cannot put your native language
  chars into konsole. Yes, it's fatal.
- If CJK multibyte chars are at the end of the line, that chars are separated into 2
  line as uncertained chars, white rectangle. The current line wrap algorythm should
  be broken.
- Selection & paste feature is broken. konsole <-> konsole works for CJK, but
  konsole <-> other apps doesn't work. CJK chars is ignored while ascii chars
  are pasted successfully.

Terminals are very important as you know, so normal bugs to normal apps are fatal to
terminal. Anyway, until above bugs are fixed, We will never agree that KDE is better
and usable than GNOME, M$-Windows, or even primitive twm+xterm desktop or MS-DOS/V.
