Your message with subj: arrow keys do not work with IDL

I don't have "IDL" to test this. Cursor definitions has been changed in KDE
3.0 [Beta2]. Please test with this. I doubt upgrading KDE influences xterm.

has caused the attached bug report to be marked as done.

This means that you claim that the problem has been dealt with.
If this is not the case it is now your responsibility to reopen the
bug report if necessary, and/or fix the problem forthwith.

(NB: If you are a system administrator and have no idea what I'm
talking about this indicates a serious mail system misconfiguration
somewhere. Please contact me immediately.)

Subject: arrow keys do not work with IDL
From: cfowler at colorado.edu

Package: konsole
Version: KDE 2.2.2
Severity: normal
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
Compiler: pentium 3
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Bug was partially fixed between kde 2.2 and 2.2.2

The application IDL allows use of the arrow keys
for its history command line and also under its
GUI interface to move a slide_widget.

Under KDE 2.2, the arrow keys did not work for
either case using Kconsoles, but the arrow keys
would work for the history commands using xterms.

Upgrading to 2.2.2, now both functions work with xterms. Using Kconsoles, the arrow keys do work with the slide_widgets but not for the command historys.

(Don't know if this helps, but under gnome, for gnome terminals and xterms, the arrow keys work okay)
