You can use "Configure Konsole" to configure the Root Console session with=

Subject: superuser mode settings aren't saved
From: geoff at morven.compulink.co.uk
X-KDE-Received: -62.31.64.2

Package: konsole
Version: KDE 3.0.3
Severity: normal
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: RedHat 7.2

Konsole works fine as a normal user. But when starting it up in superuser mode when running kde as a normal user - i.e. when I have to type the superuser password - the background is always bright yellow regardless of previous "save settings" invocations. I have to change the schema each time before it's usable.
