Subject: mouse selection: buffer copy starts not at mouse position
From: skopp at riege.de
X-KDE-Received: -194.25.33.201

Package: konsole
Version: 1.1.2 (using KDE 3.0.2 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: RedHat 7.3 - I deinstalled all RHL-KDE packages and upgraded with original KDE 3.0.2 RPM packages

When I select text in konsole for copy'n'paste, the selection does *NOT* start at the current mouse position, but at the screen (history?) buffer start instead!
The strange thing is, it does occur only sometimes! In a "freshly" started konsole, it works. After a while, the cut'n'paste get somehow broken and the problem occurs.
When having multiple konsole instances open, the problem could occur in only some of them.
The only thing which is sure is: After it's "broken" once, the konsole instance is broken until terminated.
Sorry, I can't say how to reproduce - if you need any more info, feel free to mail me.
