Package: konsole
Version: KDE 3.0.0
Severity: normal
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

I found similar bug reports that are current but lost number and couldn't get back. I am running RH 7.3 and the behavior is out of the box. I have not selected a transparent background. Xterm works ok.

I am not able to open any instances of Konsole.
