[Konsole-devel] Selecting with keys

Hi,

It would be great if there was a way to select text in Konsole using only
keyboard, especially since insert already works. Or is there already a way
I don't know about?

Perhaps it could work like this: Press a special key to enter "select
mode". Using arrow keys now moves the cursor around in the konsole, and
shift-moving selects, and they underlying application is unaffected.
Pressing enter terminates select mode, and the selected text is now
available for pasting in X.

Perhaps this is not possible, but it would be great to have because then
it would be easier to work without mouse.
