Subject: check for key bindings conflict with keytab definitions
From: Ferdinand Gassauer <f.gassauer at aon.at>
To: submit at bugs.kde.org
Package: konsole
Version: 1.0.1 (KDE 2.0 >= 20001022)
Severity: wishlist
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release)
OS: Linux 2.2.16 i686 (compiled sources)
Hi!
see also http://bugs.kde.org/db/13/13233.html and the "important notice" in the vt420pc.keytab
I suggest to include an internal check at startup of konsole and when changing the keyboard selection, to eventually warn the user which keybindings override the keytab definitions.
I do not know if this suggestion can cover the case when the konsole is open and the key bindings are changed.
