Your message with subj: konsole should use application shortcuts

There is no "cut" available in a terminal emulator. You don't need "copy"=
 as=20
selecting always sets text in clipboard and selection (speaking of KDE 3.=
0).
You can define "paste", please read $KDEDIR/share/apps/konsole/README.Key=
Tab
In KDE 3.1 there will also be a GUI to configure it.

Subject: konsole should use application shortcuts
From: fesc2000 at aol.com
X-KDE-Received: -158.116.254.10

Package: konsole
Version: KDE 2.2.2
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Solaris Packages
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Solaris
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

In the KDE preferences it is possible to define application shortcuts.
For example on Sun/SPARC i would assign the
Cut/Copy/Paste keys accordingly.

Unfortunately konsole (and other apps?) don't
use these settings ...

(Called from KBugReport dialog. Fields Application, KDE Version, OS, Compiler manually changed)
