The new version is much better that the 2003 version, especially regarding 
memory leaks.

The latest snapshots should build fine for PowerPC. What is your problem,
specifically?

Keep in mind that the snapshots currently work only with Qt3. If you need 
to build with Qt2, you'll have to try out the SVN repository (or wait for a 
snapshot to appear).
