configure problem - cann't find lqte

Are you compiling with a cross compiler? is your
target  the same as your compiling box? What microp
are you compiling for?
I have compiled it for ARM using an i386 as compiling
box, qte-2.3.7 and qtopia-free 1.7.0 the only problem 
I had was a missed -lqpe option at linking time.
