Hi Luciano,

I modified a lot of files, mostly to get read of the semicolons and applied debug enabbled options you proposed.
After modifiing .configure file (mostly adding -ljpeg -lqtopia2, and likes) I have a working build. It is big, but works. The only problem I have now is - it does not show html pages.
I created a little html page and downloaded it to the box.
Then I started it from /usr/share
#./konqueror index.html

The GUI appeared but there was no html page and following messages.

[root at Linux share]#./konqueror index.html
Warning: QGList::locate: Index -1 out of range
Warning: QGList::locate: Index -1 out of range
Warning: QObject::connect: No such signal QObject::cleared()
Warning: QObject::connect:  (sender name:   'unnamed')
Warning: QObject::connect:  (receiver name: 'unnamed')

How can I approach this problem?
Shall I try realy debug the beast or this is a known problem?

Thanks,

Alex

Hi Luciano,

Thanks a lot for the suggestions
I still have a problem - when I applied --enable-debug=full,
a lot of compiler errors showed up mostly extra `;' in places like

namespace NAME {
.....
};

All this so far in konq-embed related to kde code.

I actualy compiled on the different machine, so it might be some environment difference.
Is it a known issue with extra `;'?

Thanks,

Alex

Try reconfiguring with --enable-debug=yes or --enable-debug=full (the latter
gives a much more verbose output), make clean, and recompile.
This should give you some indication on what went wrong.
