Your message could have better hopes of finding an answer if sent to, for 
example, kde-optimize at kde.org.

Keep in mind, however, that in the open/free source world, everything is 
done by volunteers, and the best people fto solve a problem are those that 
experiencing it (scratching one's itch).

Maybe some of the suggestion could be useful for your configuration.
