So, your KDE version should be 4.2.2 If I remember correctly..
-Does that line has a non-ascii/non-latin character ?
- Could you try changing the KDE/Qt widget style from Oxygen to another theme
like Plastique or GTK ? (you may need to run the "qtconfig" application)
