A Fatal Error Occurred
The application Kompare (kompare) crashed and caused the signal 11 (SIGSEGV).

that was the exact wording of the error. i got it upon installing Kompare today
and running it for the first time.

after the first crash, so far Kompare runs just fine.

i am running Ubuntu Linux Jaunty Jackalope (ver 8.09)
i am also running GNOME desktop, ver 2.26.1, build date 5/6/2009
