Hello,

I am running Linux Mint 7 on a AMD64 machine with GNOME as my desktop. Kompare
crashes everytime i open it and causes this error:

A Fatal Error Occurred
The application Kompare (kompare) crashed and caused the signal 11 (SIGSEGV).

Application: Kompare (kompare), signal SIGSEGV
0x00007f5d218678f5 in waitpid () from /lib/libc.so.6

Thread 1 (Thread 0x7f5d2619a750 (LWP 8015)):
[KCrash Handler]
#4  0x00007f5d22ad6c20 in KServiceType::serviceOffersOffset () from
/usr/lib/libkdecore.so.5
#5  0x00007f5d22ac06fe in KMimeTypeTrader::query () from
/usr/lib/libkdecore.so.5
#6  0x000000000040de8a in _start ()

I ran strace kompare > ~/kompare.strace 2&>1 and have attached the file in
