Yes, the memo field is different.  First, bulk edit only changes the  
value when it starts out the same for ALL the edited transactions.   
Also, there is not way to blank the memo field, since not entering  
anything doesn't change the value.  I'm not sure if not changing the  
memo if all transactions start with the same value, and you enter a  
non-blank value is intentional, or is an oversight, subject to possible  
changing.
