Hello!

After another use of KMyMoney today it just came to my conclusion again 
how much I rely on this application.

Sure I still download account statements as PDF files for archival 
purposes. Also I still do money transfers online in the web application of 
the bank institute in question although I know I could use KMyMoney. Maybe 
it gives me a better sense of control of the process.

However for anything related to individual transactions done in the past I 
rely on the KMyMoney database as long as the current amount matches what 
is in the web application which it usually does. KMyMoney is just so much 
more efficient than any of these web interfaces.

I am also happy that I can tell KMyMoney how to normalize recipient names 
instead of unifying them after the fact. I only found this out recently. 
Also the merging of transactions between different accounts and the 
intelligent auto filling… awesome!

I am approaching 20 years of data in the KMyMoney file and it is still 
going strong. And wait… it has been how many KDE releases? KDE 3, KDE SC 
4, Plasma / KF 5 and soon Plasma / KF 6 I bet.

All in all KMyMoney together with AQBanking is of tremendous help for me.
