Your configuration/settings are not gone. Even using -n as argument
they should be present because they are kept in a different location.
-n only instructs KMyMoney not to open your last used data file.

Just for the record: 476 was created on May 06, 19:24 UTC. So we simply
need to find out what happened after that and see how that influences
loading. I don't see any code change in the KMyMoney repo after that
date. The latest code change was on Apr 26 18:33:14 2023 +0200.
