Is your locale set to UK English?

This is very strange, but there is no entity ASCII anywhere in 
details-formats.docbook. The word "ASCII" appears once.  I'm wondering 
here if there is actually a problem with the translation files.  I might 
bring this up on the documentation mailing list.
