Open your encrypted file, then 'save as...', select XML as filetype and select "No encryption" in the upcoming key selection dialog (see attachment) in case you have GPG encryption enabled. Then choose a filename and you are done.

Please note that this only works reliable with KMyMoney 5.0.4 or newer due to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=406537.
