Building KMyMoney on Windows

Hi! I was reading last night about building KMyMoney on Windows using Craft (https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Build_from_source/Windows). Is Craft the best way to build on Windows? Is it possible to build directly from within Visual Studio Community 2017 or 2019? If it matters, I'm running Windows 10 Pro and have both Visual Studio Community 2017 and the 2019 Preview installed.
