KMyMoney crashing on Neon 18.04

Long time user of KMM now newly installed on Neon 18.04.
Immediate difference on starting - Did You Know msg box was partly behind KMM main screen and could not be accessed at all so selected Cancel to exit.

Restarted but this time DYK box was in front and active so unselected it to clear and went on to create and save a single account, then exited.

Started again to add another account but this time KMM seg faulted on saving

A Kubuntu forum user has KMM installed and working perfectly on Neon 18. This is the first problem I have encountered in years of using KMM - indeed any KDE software - so it's all very new!
