Don't use Notepad, as Windows uses different line endings. 
Also,  remember that your mystery ID had prefix, so you need to look
for that too.

No, there's no need to install old versions. Looks like your XML file has some problems to be detected as such. 

Can you start kmymoney from a DOS-Box (Windows-Shell) with the folowing
command:

  kmymoney "X:/Arquivos Privados/Rhaufed/KMyMoney/Fix.xml"

If that also fails, then it seems that your editor screwed up the file somwhow.
