yet looking further ...

keeping your account structure,

use networth today report

in row/column detail tag - top level

in chart tag select pie

in account tag select only small caps/long term/short term accounts

does it work?

looks like you have an "asset account" (level 1) and an "investment account" (level 2) on top of your small caps/long term/short term (level 3).

if you book your small caps/long term/short term as top level accounts (without any parent), you could tweak the small caps/long term/short term by grouping them under the same institution named "investments". in institution page you could see the total of your small caps/long term/short term, acting as your level 2

your asset total is shown in kmymoney homepage, acting as your level 1.

not exactly ... but close ... hopefully

assets/investments are attributes of accounts

small cap/long term/short term are accounts. u may take it as top level.

A/B/C/X/Y/a are investment stocks.

Hi all,

I want to create a report for my investments so I can have a kind of a Portfolio View of what I have, segregated into different portfolios.

My account structure is like:

Assets

    Investments

        Small caps

            A

            B

            C

        Long term

             X

             Y

         Short term

             a

You can see I have a 4 levels structure, and the stocks are at level 4, (in this example they are A,B...). If I generate a pie chart with Details field left empty I get results at level 4, and If I change Details to Top as you, then I get results at level 1.

Butm , my desire is to have results at level 3. Anyone can help me to get this sorted out?

Hope you get what I mean

Thanks.

Rhaufed
