I may be answering the wrong question, in which case your question will 
need to be more detailed.

What may work (on a backup file, in case), is to edit one security to 
have temporarily a different symbol.  Then edit the other one to have 
that same symbol.  All being well, you'll get the question asking if you 
want to use the existing stock.  If so, that should result in them all 
being grouped together, so then edit the symbol back to its original.
