Peter,

I have not read all the posts for this, so excuse me if I don't 'get what you
are doing'.

I have KMM and import msmoney QIF files. yes, there are a few gotchas there.
What I have had to do in some instances is (a) import msmoney qif file, and
then export from kmm to qif, and then do a beyond compare on the 2 QIF files.
... Some differences.

Anyway, I'd suggest you setup 2 test accounts, exactly as you want the 'import
result' to be. Then export to QIF, and see what account type the header info
has there. Then modify your QIF import file accordingly.

I do still use a (very small) QIF to import to KMM sometimes, and I _think_ I
had to fiddle with the header info to get what I really wanted. I will try and
hunt up that file.

From a fellow aussie. :)
