I note you are new to Linux and I suspect you have just encountered for 
the first time one of the big differences betweenLlinux and Windows.

With Linux the easiest way of installing most programs (and kmymoney is 
no exception) is to look for it in your distros package manager. You 
will most likely find that references to kmymoney are in there. Select 
and it will be automatically downloaded and installed.
