Teng,
sorry for the delay in answering your request.
To be honest, I don't know much about the specifics on MacOS other than it is
somewhat based a *NIX (better BSD) system underneath. But all the details
of the UI, build tools and ecosystem are a mystery to me :)
An initial start for you might be https://invent.kde.org/office/kmymoney/-/wikis/home
which covers topics you may look for. Please be aware, that this page contains somewhat
outdated information mostly regarding the sub component's versions (e.g. we already
support Qt6/KF6 and KDE4 is unsupported). If I find some time, I have to update this
to the current state.
I have never used the static builds and don't know if those are required for
MacOS at all.
The KDE CI/CD system support MacOS builds for x86 and arm but we have currently
disabled them, because they just waste resources because they always fail at a
late stage in building the package. Compiling though used to work.
This might be the first thing to look into but unfortunately, I can't provide
any detailed hints how to tackle that due to my lack of MacOS knowledge.
If you want to take a look, I can turn either x86 or arm back on, so that you
can see where it fails. Just let me know.
As a first thing I suggest to subscribe to this mailing list because it is our
main communication channel.
Again, welcome on board and looking forward to work with you. In case you have
general or specific questions let us know.
Thomas
