How long do you use KMyMoney? The left side of your screenshots shows a
recently added feature (show the payee in their own column). This was
requested, because in older versions only the payee was shown in the details
column (for probably more than 15 or 20 years) just like you present it on the
right side. So it's not a bug but a long standing feature.

If you want to see more details in the detail column, please visit the ledger
settings and check the section "Ledger entry details" on the "Display" tab.
