Feature Request: "Forecast-Only" Scheduled Transactions (without ledger entry)

Hi KMyMoney Development Team,
First, thank you for maintaining such an excellent and robust financial
tool. I am using KMyMoney on Windows and it helps me tremendously with my
personal finances.
I would like to propose a new feature regarding the handling of Scheduled
Transactions.
*Current workflow and limitation:* Right now, when a scheduled transaction
reaches its due date, the system expects it to be entered into the ledger
(either automatically or manually) or matched with an imported bank
transaction. If I only import my transactions via bank downloads (OFX/CSV)
and do not want to risk manual ledger pollution or duplicates, managing
these schedules can become tedious (manually skipping occurrences, etc.).
*Proposed feature:* I would love to see a new option within the Schedule
setup, such as: *"Use for forecasting only (do not enter into ledger)"*.
When checked:
1.
The scheduled transaction would be used exclusively by the *Forecast*
module to simulate future balances and cash flow.
2.
When the due date passes, the schedule would automatically roll over to
the next period *without* prompting the user to enter it into the
ledger, and *without* creating any pending or overdue transaction alerts.
This would allow users who rely 100% on bank downloads for their actual
ledger to still use KMyMoney's powerful forecasting tools seamlessly,
without any manual maintenance of the schedule queues.
Thank you for considering this enhancement request!
Best regards,
Pierre
