I have noticed that issue also occurs if you change any other chart option,
such as the “Line Width”, “Draw values on chart” etc.

I will attach a PDF of some screenshots.

My suggestion is the “Show Balance Chart” should always show:
    1. An “Absolute Limit” line
    2. A “Legend”
independent of which “Chart Palette” and other chart options are used. So the
plot would look something like the final "suggested" plot I have included in
the attached PDF.
