The best bet is to use an AppImage version as it seems that Ubuntu does not have
a newer version of either KMyMoney nor AqBanking. You can download that from

  https://kmymoney.org/appimage.html

The stable version should provide what you need. It comes with an up-to-date
AqBanking and supports all that new stuff that the banks in Germany switched
to last year.
