Time format used to be supported, but recent code changes introduced a
regression.  A date "02.04.2026 17:10" gets adjusted to "02/04/2026/17/10" and
the time component get improperly assigned to date variables" 17 to aMonth and
10 to aDate. This, in turn, causes it to fail with the error I reported.
