So far I've tried to build it locally on mac silicon with vcpkg, but wasn't
successful yet.
Then I got the compilation successful by pulling the dependencies from
craft, but got an issue later when running, can't open a file. so I'll
retry with the approach from the forum. btw is there any QA checklist to
validate that the build is successful and the app can run properly?

As I observed the biggest blocker in the build is the lack of "BUNDLE
DESTINATION" in the install target in CMakeLists.txt. it's specific for the
MACOSX_BUNDLE target. @Thomas Baumgart <thb at net-bembel.de> if possible
could you please enable the CI/CD once for arm to see the build log and
continue from there.
