Bug ID: 510883
Summary: Initially empty ledger panel shows a closed account
upon re-start.
Classification: Applications
Product: kmymoney
Version First 5.2.1
Reported In:
Platform: Mint (Ubuntu based)
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: minor
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: kmymoney-devel at kde.org
Reporter: RaidonShigetoki at gmail.com
Target Milestone: ---
SUMMARY
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Ensure that there are active and closed accounts.
2. Empty ledger form by closing all displayed accounts.
3. Restart the app
4. Go to the ledger form.
OBSERVED RESULT
It keeps bringing up a closed account (only one) and shows its transactions. I
tried it few times and it popped up the same account consistently. And the
option to hide closed accounts was set to ON.
When I tried to open up one or few active accounts the ledger form kept them
all upon restart without any problem. So the workaround is very simple is to
keep at least one active account in the ledger opened.
EXPECTED RESULT
If the ledger form is empty it shall remain empty upon restart.
I saw Bug 391453 from 2018 mentioning similar issue but it did not work for me.
So I decided to submit it again.
