I should have looked at this but when I go back and run the AppImage version
the reconciliation date, cleared and balance information correctly as it should
when I look at the ledger and CTRL-F command works correctly and opens the
ability to filter the ledger.

I also uninstalled the downloaded version I installed and restarted my computer
and everything works as defined above.
