Simply fill in the DEBIT amount and select the receiving account in the
category widget and you're done.

I am not sure if I understand the comment: do you mean the status combo which
is located to the right above the Enter and Cancel buttons of the transaction
editor or do you mean the search feature for the ledger? For the latter, simply
press Ctrl+F to get access to it.
