            Bug ID: 512034
Summary: Reinvest dividends does not work properly
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kmymoney
      Version First 5.2.1
       Reported In:
          Platform: Microsoft Windows
                OS: Microsoft Windows
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: documentation
          Assignee: kmymoney-devel at kde.org
          Reporter: excellentwork at att.net
  Target Milestone: ---

I am trying to enter a "reinvest dividend" transaction.
I first select "reinvest dividend" from the Activity drop down.
I select the security from the drop down box.
I enter the number of shares.
I enter the dollar amount for the transaction in the Interest box and select
the category of Investment Income.
It does not calculate the price per share and must be entered manually.
It then asks for an account and I put in the brokerage account for that
security.
Once I press enter, there are now 2 transaction in the ledger. Neither has a
transaction activity.
Both are for the dollar amount and show the share price at $1.00 and the number
of shares as a fractional value. (Example: Dividend was $0.22. So number of
shares is .22)
There is no record of the actual shares or the price paid.

This is a new development as I have entered this type of transaction in the
past and it worked perfectly.

This should be shown as one transaction as it was previously. It is now very
confusing to have 2 transactions and not an accurate picture of the transaction
