reconciliation bars in ledger for investment accounts

I just again noticed that although my investment accounts do show the  
date of the last reconciliation at the bottom of the ledger, they do  
not show the amount of that reconciliation, nor do they show the bars  
for all previous reconciliations (I do have it set to display all of  
them.)  I then found in the code
   // we never show reconciliation records in investment accounts
which clearly explains why.  I suppose the thought was that  
reconciliation of investment accounts was not useful as the cash  
balance is always zero, but I do use this to show I have confirmed the  
amounts of all securities held against the statement.   How hard would  
it be to make this optional, or just enable it.  It won't make any  
difference from anyone who does not reconcile their investment accounts.
