I just tried that being careful to select the file type in the combo box to be
.anon.xml and it saved such a file using a KMyMoney 5.1.3-eef04f1 (dated Fri
May 3 18:30:48 2024). I provided a name without any dots. Maybe, you can try
creating the anon file with 5.1.3 again. 

The file you sent indeed misses some account records but has references to it,
both from other accounts as well as transactions (e.g. "239-category").
