Don't know if you mean the qif file instead of profile. I don't know how to get
to qif profile to post as there are several sections.
I discovered the problem as Kmymoney doesn't like using "SSA" as the payee and
threfore it skips that and creates an "Opening Balance" entry
If I change the payee from "SSA" to "Social Security" it imports correctly with
"Social Security" as payee and imports category as well correctly. I have a
category "SSA". Could this cause the conflict?
I will just have to change "SSA" to "Social Security"  in qif before importing.
I use an app called ImportQif to convert qfx to qif.
Have tried directly importing qfx file but it doesn't match transactions the
way I want.
