Problem Description:
When generating a net worth report for a specific date in KMyMoney (version
5.1.3 on Ubuntu 24.10), I noticed that opening balances are automatically
included. This leads to an apparent duplication of values and distorts the net
worth distribution.

Steps to Reproduce the Issue:

Create a new account with a defined opening balance.

Enter additional transactions after the opening date.

Generate a net worth report for a specific date.

Observe that the report includes the opening balance, which doubles the
total value of assets/liabilities.

Impact:
This automatic inclusion of opening balances distorts financial analysis by
doubling the values of affected accounts, making the reports less reliable for
decision-making.

Suggested Improvement:
It would be beneficial to add an option allowing users to exclude opening
balances from the net worth report for a specific date, ensuring a more
accurate representation of the current financial situation.

Additional Information:

    KMyMoney Version Used: 5.1.3

    Operating System: Ubuntu 24.10

I am available to provide additional information or to test potential
solutions.
